Job Summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is looking for a self-motivated, proactive procurement analytical individual who possesses advanced analytical capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys employing mathematical / statistical techniques to analyze and interpret intricate data sets of procurement and financial data to derive meaningful insights to deliver value to the Procurement and Operations organizations.  As a Procurement Analyst, you will utilize your expertise to transform complex procurement datasets into easily comprehensible data-driven narratives, understand data and trends and interpret them before presenting reports to business managers and stakeholders, and deliver professional, accurate and meaningful analyses and dashboards, including property Spend Analyses, Invoice Aging Reports, Utilization of Preferred Supplier Programs, Ownership Value Proposition and Reporting, and Benchmarking among many other types of standard and ad hoc reports. A key responsibility will be to provide ad hoc reporting based on Ownership requirements. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating process performance & improvements across the Procurement and Project Management areas.  Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Visio and Power BI and other analytical tools, is essential to enable this candidate’s success.  Successful candidate with work with multiple Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems including Birchstreet and Reactornet, and Capital Planning and Budgeting tool to run reports enabling business decisions. Collaborating with stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, Ownership Groups and Divisional Leaders) to understand their data requirements, effectively analyze datasets and produce meaningful analyses and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of our organization are essential skills. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in procurement or financial data analysis with advanced analytical and data modeling skills, demonstrate a solid understanding of business processes, with a passion to drive value for stakeholders and exhibit excellent communication skills.



  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business, Financial, Procurement or Statistical Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proven capabilities as a statistical analyst providing analytical results to drive business decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and related technologies (Power Query, DAX, etc.).
  • Ability to understand the data, inquire and validate inaccuracies, erroneous data to ensure for accurate datasets
  • Ability to spot data trends with experience in data mining and scrubbing
  • Advanced mathematical skills and statistical tools
  • Experience in data modeling and database design
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Microsoft Power BI certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data integration and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data sampling methods
  • Experience in supporting Procurement, Finance or AP functions is desirable
  • Familiarity with data governance and data security practices



  • Apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze large data sets (supplier invoices, payment files, ownership data, supplier data and procurement programs) and identify patterns, correlations and trends.
  • Understand the meaning of the data variables in all reports (supplier invoices, payment files, ownership data, supplier data, and procurement programs) to be able to know what techniques to apply to obtain results
  • Gather / validate / analyze data to produce regular Invoice Aging Reports, monthly Procurement Program Utilization Reports, Ownership Detailed Utilization Reports with non-contracted spend, Ownership Value (Price Savings & Rebates) Reports, Rebate & Fee Reports, Ownership Benchmarking Standard Reports, Capital Budget Reports & Analyses, CAPEX project analysis, Category – Supplier – Product Competitive Analyses,
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (Invoice Aging, Utilization, Ownership Value Reports, Rebate Management, ESG, Spend Cube, among others) based on business requirements.
  • Design and implement data models to support the visualization and analysis of data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into project requirements (project goals, scope of dataset, data to analyze, data sources, other key considerations).
  • Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency; and perform data validation on all data files received to confirm the accuracy of the dataset and collaborate with the departments who source the data.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, data integrity and data integration issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated data refresh schedules.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to Power BI processes and data analysis.
  • Stay updated with advanced analytical tools and best practices to continuously improve the reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Conduct user training and provide support to end-users on all reporting and analyses.
  • Train and support end-users in utilizing Power BI reports and dashboards effectively.
