Senior Director Procurement Systems & Technology S

The Director Procurement Systems & Technology Solutions is a strategic member of the Aimbridge Procurement leadership team and is responsible for providing leadership and subject matter expertise with Procurement functional area. This person utilizes procurement systems technologies and tools to support overall Procurement function strategy and execution. This role will identify source and implement systems and technology solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Procurement and Design & Construction/Project Management organization. The incumbent in this role will own the multi-year Procurement technology roadmap and interface with the enterprise Information Technology leadership. This person represents the Procurement function in defining business requirements and ensures solutions meet the needs of the business. The role utilizes sourcing procurement design & construction/project management and software implementation experience paired with knowledge of cutting-edge technologies/tools to deliver a cost-effective Procurement technology solution that drives efficiency standardization and data-driven decision making. Defines standard reports and creates custom queries on an ad hoc basis. Ensures that system documentation or training are accurately updated and maintained. This role will introduce new concepts such as Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence to upgrade reporting and data analytic capabilities for Procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience including some prior management experience
• Has extensive experience with Procurement systems and technology solutions and process optimization
• Possesses deep knowledge of ERP Strategic Sourcing Supplier Performance Management Contract Management Purchase-to-Pay Data Analytics and Reporting platforms or other similar systems
• Has led enterprise deployment of technology and data analytics solutions
• Has spearheaded change programs enabled by technology • Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables
• Brings experience working within the Procurement function and has deep knowledge of Procurement processes
• Contributes to strategic planning direction and goal setting for the Procurement function in collaboration with senior management
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
• Strong presentation communication and facilitation skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Must be motivated independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for identifying screening selecting deploying and integrating procurement systems and technology solutions with existing company platforms.
• Develops Procurement systems and technology roadmap to underpin Procurement and Design & Construction/Project Management strategy and deliver business goals.
• Defines business requirements to simplify and make Procurement processes more efficient enabled by Procurement tools.
• Contributes to strategic planning direction and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
• Partners closely with IT function leadership on system selection and implementation to communicate status share knowledge and bring disjointed processes together.
• Accountable for the alignment of technology investments to strategic Procurement and Design & Construction/Project Management priorities.
• Assesses organizational needs and current Procurement systems evaluates potential and existing vendors and oversees development and implementation of improvements or new systems.
• Maintains consistent communication with business stakeholders to manage expectations ensure business pains are understood and that business requirements/user stories are well documented.
• Responsible for rollout and training of users in Procurement and other functions.
• Ensures that data from procurement systems and processes is made available to the Procurement Data ecosystem.
