Clears cleans and sets tables in a restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Clerical skills. Organizational skills. Oral communication skills. Customer/client orientation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Clears dish or glassware from tables during service.
  • Cleans and sets tables in between guests.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Stocks service areas and assists waitstaff as needed.
  • May be expected to assist with dishwashing.

Renaissance Charleston Historic District Hotel is located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Guests can take a refreshing plunge in the pool or grab a bite to eat at the on-site restaurant. The property is located 3 blocks away from the City Market and King Street shops

All rooms are elegantly furnished and have marble bathrooms. Each comes with a 32-inch flat screen TV with cable and satellite channels. There is a mini-bar along with tea and coffee making facilities in every room.

Room service and a concierge are available. 2,759 of meeting and event space is offered.
