Job Summary

Assists hotel or resort guests with the entrance to a hotel or room within the hotel.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • While no formal education is required a high school diploma is often preferred.
  • Consciously remain well-groomed with the correct hotel uniform and ID badge all the time during work shift
  • Ability to give tourists local information about tourist spots and theaters
  • Must always be courteous customer-oriented with a cheerful disposition
  • Excellent manners and courtesy
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills in English

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Greets guests upon arrival and directs guests for check-in.
  • Providing information about the town or city if requested
  • Be trained in polite manners and efficient customer service
  • Assist physically challenged guests or those with special needs.
  • Provide guests with travel directions and other information of interest to hotel quests.
