About Us: At Aimbridge Hospitality, we strive to be the most trusted hotel employer and operater. The Sr. Benefits Analyst reports to the Director of Benefits, and administers health & welfare benefit programs for Aimbridge Hospitality. This position balances experience in employee benefits benefit vendor management and knowledge of the internal HR operations to ensure efficient plan administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration: Administer health and welfare plans, including medical (fully and self-insured), dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible savings accounts, COBRA, and commuter benefits.
• Vendor Management: Work with third party vendors and consultants to ensure benefit programs are administered accurately.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.
• Issue resolution: Provide guidance on issues related to benefits for management. Ability to apply judgment to assess and resolve sensitive and highly confidential issues. Handle benefit related inquiries from managers and human resources staff.
• Communication: Provide assistance during annual enrollment, including system set-up, audits, and communication. Assist with plan documentation  and other annual employee communications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 4-6 years in benefit plan administration. Experience in a union environment a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills in a confidential environment. Service-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Strong working knowledge of employee benefits plans. Ability to react appropriately in a challenging and changing environment.
