Garde Manger is responsible for preparing and maintaining all cold food items in the kitchen for Banquets and Restaurants. Items includes but not limited to: salads, pastries, charcuterie, cheeses, fruits, deserts, and other cold appetizers. Works closely with the Executive Chef to plan and direct food preparation in kitchen. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM (Overtime Eligible Manager) associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
