The Convention Service Manager who reports directly to the Director of Catering and Event Services and the Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for planning, detailing and executing special events, meetings and conferences for groups sold by the sales and catering team. Task will include but are not limited to conducting detailing calls and in-person sites, menu tastings, creating event orders, distributing group resumes, overseeing group room blocks, negotiating outside vendor service agreements, reviewing final bills and ensuring payments are received.
