Ensure guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of the hotel by supervising back of the house operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or the Manager on Duty. This individual may assist the General Manager by continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation cost control guest satisfaction and development of associates. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities. Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms hallways and public areas in the hotel servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures stocking cart with room supplies and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks. Performs all stages of linen processing including collecting transporting sorting weighing loading and unloading (washers dryers and chutes) ironing folding storing and delivering.
