The Area Director of Sales is responsible planning and managing the overall sales and marketing for a collection of 2-10 full service premium select and/or independent branded hotels. This role has the responsibility to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth to maximize total revenue while meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives for all of the entire collection of hotels. This individual will oversee operations of the hotel sales department including but not limited to direct sales follow-up sales administration hiring of staff training managing and coaching. Additional responsibilities include sales and marketing budget forecast advertising marketing and business plans; manages within approved plans and budgets.  Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned catering/banquet goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as servicing clients/groups where applicable. The Catering Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of catering sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Social Corporate Business SMERF). Assist Director of Sales Sales Managers and Catering Manager in obtaining customer satisfaction by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel communications through the sales team as well as light selling duties to small groups and functions. The incumbent may also perform light selling duties to small groups and functions as directed by the Director of Sales.

The Director of Sales has direct oversight of sales, catering and events operations for Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. This role has the responsibility to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth to maximize total revenue while meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives. As a Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for executing sales strategies in order to maximize hotel profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. The DOS will be a Hotel Executive Committee Member and hold those responsibilities.   Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000 base with an incentivized bonus opportunity, based off of related skills and experience.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing food and drink orders serving beverages and meals to patrons as regulated by state and federal age requirements and coordinating lounge/bar activities.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accounts payable/accounts receivable functions at the hotel as applicable; ensuring invoices are received and/or processed on a timely basis responsible for handling all the hotel deposits in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality Standards. In addition The Accounting Clerk also assists the Property Accountant with the administration of the Accounting area including Accounts Payable Human Resources and Payroll.

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Front Office in an attentive friendly efficient and courteous manner providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly. Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time. 

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager while providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. He/she is also responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
