He/she is also responsible for continually working towards improving Restaurant Room Service Bar/Lounge Starbucks (or other comparable outlet) quick-serve outlet pool bar and/or any other applicable outlet and Banquet sales (as applicable by hotel) revenues to exceed budget. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation maintenance service and repair of equipment as assigned. He/she is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned. He/she is also responsible for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs such as carpentry painting plumbing etc. May require driving shuttle van when needed (property specific). In addition, this position assesses organizational needs develops aligned human resource solutions, and implements strategies in the area of employee relations compensation and benefits recognition and administration. This Area Director of Human Resources role will report to a General Manager with a dotted line to the Regional Human Resources Director. This role is for 4 properties with a combined average size team of 150 associates.

Salary starting at $75,000 (based on experience)   The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts. The Senior Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure Business Travel Group SMERF). This role will also serve as a mentor/trainer for members of the Sales team. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

The Director of Rooms is responsible for management and day-to-day effective operations for guest reception, guest services, concierge, reservations, coop and housekeeping, including profitable financial management, effective leadership, excellent customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and supervision of department requirements and standards. The Director of Rooms is accountable for the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel while providing exceptional levels of guest service through the guests stay. The Director of Rooms is also responsible for communicating and developing department managers to ensure all developed standards are met on a consistent basis. This position will work closely with our executive committee but will not sit as a member of the executive committee.   Previous experience and knowledge of hotel operations is required, along with the ability to be a team player. This position will often work outside the scope of normal duties and frequently interacts with guests, requiring the ability to work and remain calm and professional under potentially stressful situations to ensure guest satisfaction. The Director of Rooms will be required to learn the hotel's life-safety systems and be always prepared for emergency situations. This is a salaried manager position, with schedules and number of hours worked dependent on hotel business. The ideal candidate will have proven results handling guest services and will be capable of problem solving quickly. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting an extensive operation spread over 28 acres. The ability to interact with Associates and guest alike, in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism, is crucial to this role. Expert level of written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
