Salary starting at $75,000 (based on experience)
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts. The Senior Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure Business Travel Group SMERF). This role will also serve as a mentor/trainer for members of the Sales team. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
The Director of Rooms is responsible for management and day-to-day effective operations for guest reception, guest services, concierge, reservations, coop and housekeeping, including profitable financial management, effective leadership, excellent customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and supervision of department requirements and standards. The Director of Rooms is accountable for the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel while providing exceptional levels of guest service through the guests stay. The Director of Rooms is also responsible for communicating and developing department managers to ensure all developed standards are met on a consistent basis. This position will work closely with our executive committee but will not sit as a member of the executive committee.
Previous experience and knowledge of hotel operations is required, along with the ability to be a team player. This position will often work outside the scope of normal duties and frequently interacts with guests, requiring the ability to work and remain calm and professional under potentially stressful situations to ensure guest satisfaction. The Director of Rooms will be required to learn the hotel's life-safety systems and be always prepared for emergency situations. This is a salaried manager position, with schedules and number of hours worked dependent on hotel business.
The ideal candidate will have proven results handling guest services and will be capable of problem solving quickly. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting an extensive operation spread over 28 acres. The ability to interact with Associates and guest alike, in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism, is crucial to this role. Expert level of written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

Primary responsibilities include: registering guests making and modifying reservations hotel operator and concierge duties. Providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Activities of the corporate accounting function include accounts receivable processing bank and balance sheet reconciliations corporate month-end closing procedures for financial statement preparation and analysis. Responsible for overseeing the efficient processing of accounting related information according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
