Current hours are Sunday - Thursday 7am to 10pm, and Friday - Saturday 7am to 11pm. Weekends are required.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in ensuring refined, high quality food and beverage service is provided to our guests throughout the shift. This position is also responsible for continually working toward improving overall food and beverage sales revenues beyond budget. F&B Supervisor is considered a supervisory role and is full-time, 5 days a week, with hours that are scheduled based on business needs. Weekends are required. Our ideal candidate will need to show strong leadership and communication skills; and be comfortable with making inependent decisions that are in favor of the business. Hotel experience and knowledge of inventorying and Micros POS systems is highly preferred. Supervisor roles at The Westin Portland Harborview are eligible for cell phone and parking reimbursement.

A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms hallways and public areas in the hotel servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures stocking cart with room supplies and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned catering/banquet goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as servicing clients/groups where applicable. The Catering Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals. The General Manager is a polished well-spoken and well-regarded ambassador who carries a strong vision for their hotel. He or she is charged with responsibility for all aspects of operations for their assigned property; providing support supervision and guidance to their management team and front line associates. He or she will ensure that financial performance is optimized that high quality product and service levels are maintained and that the hotel is operated in compliance with state federal and local regulations as well as Company and brand standards.
The General Manager will establish priorities and lead key operational initiatives such as the sales plan and budget development and execution of physical property improvement projects. They will provide hands on leadership to ensure that revenue is maximized while expenses are effectively controlled. They will serve as the linchpin for communications with guests and clients associates ownership corporate representatives brand representatives and key vendors.
Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 2 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time.
