Job Summary-General Manager for the Extended Stay America (ESA) Dayton South   Highlights: Great Opportunity for a first Time GM. Will consider a strong AGM or Front Office Manager. The Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. Responsibilities might include (as dictated by hotel vertical): deep cleaning of assigned areas setting-up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions including the coffee service and nightly concierge events cleaning and setting-up meeting room functions delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk and driving shuttle van when needed (property specific). The Food & Beverage Asst Director is responsible for providing support for the F&B Director in assuring attentive friendly courteous and efficient service in all F&B Outlets (Cafe Room Service Lounge and Banquets) while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities. Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time. 

  The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for assuring attentive friendly courteous and efficient service in all F&B Outlets (Restaurant Room Service Lounge Market and Banquets) while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost. He/she is also responsible for continually working towards improving Restaurant Room Service Lounge Market and Banquet sales revenues to meet or exceed budget. The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for directing and organizing the activities of the Food and Beverage Department to ensure a consistently high-quality food product while at the same time developing his/her team and driving a positive work environment. In addition this position is charged with consistently improving guest and employee satisfaction. The incumbent in this role may function in the role of a Chef as required. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms hallways and public areas in the hotel servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures stocking cart with room supplies and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks. The Convention Services Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned convention/event goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively servicing clients/groups and maintaining the contracted food and beverage minimum. The Convention Services Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering/Convention Services to achieve the hotel’s revenue meeting planner satisfaction scores and food and beverage goals for one or more assigned properties.
